AVRDC-ARC warmly welcomes Dr. Le Thi Thu Huong as the National Expert of the IFAD/AVRDC-ARC SOVP project effective 4 June 2007. Dr. Huong has a Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology from University of Bonn, Germany. Prior to working at ARC, Dr. Huong worked as a National Expert in the Vegetable IPM Program of FAO Vietnam. Dr. Huong, with the guidance of ARC’s Regional Director, will coordinate all the activities of the SOVP project in the provinces of Ha Tinh and Tra Vinh.Dr. Huong will be based in Hanoi and can be contacted through her email address: huonglevn@hotmail.com
